Compared to low or high-density polyethylene, it has high tensile strength and operating temperature. Light in weight, resistant to staining, & low moisture absorption rate, Polypropylene offers excellent resistance to organic solvents, decreasing agents and electrolytic attack. It a tough, heat-resistant, semi-rigid material, suitable for the transfer of hot liquids or gases.
Fatigue Resistance – Polypropylene retains its shape under heavy torsion, bending, and flexing. It remains strong after repeated wear—even when used as a working hinge.
Insulation – Due to polypropylene's extremely high electrical resistance, it is often utilized with or for electronic components, as it withstands high temperatures well.
